At Loftin & Company Printers, we’re always looking for
ways to make printed communications more efficient,
both from an economical and a “green” perspective.

At Loftin, green printing is an approach that
extends well beyond printed materials. That’s why our
guiding principles extend beyond Chain-of-Custody (COC) certification guidelines to encompass eco-friendly best practices in all aspects of our business.

It’s why we’re proactively setting an example as industry leaders in re-thinking every aspect of the way we do business - from paper choices that are elemental chlorine free, to full electronic management, to advising clients on how to make printed pieces fully recyclable.

We were also early adopters of digital and print-on demand technologies, allowing our customers to greatly reduce waste by ordering only the quantities demanded by their end users and customers.

While many industries are trying to clean up their acts, the printing industry has had its hands full. Issues like ink waste, diesel truck shipping, and the use of chemicals and solvents have presented the industry with no shortage of challenges in the quest to become eco-friendly.

Traditionally, our industry has made use of a wide array of
inks, solvents, lacquers, dyes, acids, resins, driers and
other chemicals in the print process. Now, due to the
proactive steps that Loftin is incorporating, things
are changing. We’re proud to take an active role
in ushering in that change. We’re making great
strides in pushing our industry towards more
responsible practices without sacrificing quality.
